Digital News Report – Target announced that they would open a new store in Fremont, California. The opening is planned for March 2012. The Fremont South Target location will be at 43956 Pacific Commons Blvd.
The new Target store will have a grocery store section. There will be fresh produce, packaged meats, and bakery items. The entire store will be 138,000 square feet. Target plans to hire 175- 250 employees to work at this location.
Target also collaborates with local organization to help the surrounding community. Target plans on donating to the United Way. Target will also donate food to Feeding America and other products to the local Goodwill chapter.
