By Victoria Brown on November 3, 2010

Digital News Report – Target retail stores will start selling the Apple iPhone on November 7, 2010. They will be carrying both the iPhone 3GS and the iPhone4. They will be selling the Apple iPhones at their Target Mobile centers at 846 of their retail stores.

There is also Target’s Electronic Trade-In service that will take your old electronics and turn them into store credit at Target. You can trade-in used cell phones, mp3 players, video games, and other electronics to earn store credit. At this time the Target Electronic Trade-In service is available 846 location with plans to expand to virtually all the remaining stores by the middle of next year. BestBuy retailer also offers similar electronic trade-in programs as well.

The convenience of being able to try out the Apple iPhone and get the phone activated right away may help make buying a mobile phone easier.
