Holiday Season In Santa Cruz A Great Success

By Dan on December 28, 2009

Digital News Report-There will be a Farmers Market in the parking lot on Cedar Street between Lincoln and Cathcart this Wednesday (see below for details).

The city of Santa Cruz began bagging meters for Downtown Holiday Parking Program last week. All two hour meters will be bagged and shoppers will be given two hours of free parking. This was good news for retailers looking to increase sales during the Christmas rush.

There was a mountain lion attack in the area over the holiday. JM Brown with Sentinel reports that two pygmy goats, Molly and Mindy, were slaughtered in the pens.

No one saw the attack, but experts agree it was a mountain lion.
