Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stepped out for a romantic evening together during the Kansas City Chiefs’ bye week. The married couple was seen holding hands as they left the Jane Hotel on Friday, October 9, in New York City.
Photographers reported that Swift and Kelce had dinner at The Old Rose, an American-Italian restaurant inside the Jane Hotel. However, the restaurant’s current status remains unclear, as Yelp lists it as permanently closed, according to arynews.tv. DeuxMoi reported that the couple may instead have gone to San Vicente, a private members club next door. The exact location remains unconfirmed, but their hand-in-hand exit gave fans a glimpse of their time together.
Kelce’s trip to New York comes during the Chiefs’ scheduled Week 5 break in the NFL season. The team returns to action on October 18 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Swift and Kelce have drawn attention during their public appearances in recent months. The pair married in July and have continued to be spotted together in New York and elsewhere.
Swift is also expected to travel to Los Angeles next week for the 2026 Academy Museum Gala, scheduled for October 17. She has been announced as a performer at the annual event, which supports the Academy Museum’s exhibitions, film screenings, educational programs and other initiatives.
The gala also serves as one of the events marking the beginning of Hollywood’s awards season. During the Chiefs’ bye week, Swift and Kelce appear to be keeping their activities relatively low key.
Swift owns multiple properties across several states, including homes in New York, Rhode Island, Tennessee and California. Swift and Kelce have also recently drawn attention over plans involving a lakefront property in Bratenahl, Ohio.
Neighbors have raised concerns about proposed landscaping and security changes at the property, including fencing and trees near a shared sewer line. An original plan included an eight-foot fence, but the proposal was later revised to six feet following discussions with residents.
Swift looked effortlessly chic for the Friday night date in New York City. She wore a fitted, long-sleeved green top with relaxed, high-rise trousers in a rich chocolate brown.
One of the standout accessories was a $3,450 black Gucci Horsebit Ristretto medium shoulder bag. Gucci describes the current design as being made from glossy black leather with gold-toned Horsebit hardware, a detachable chain strap and an adjustable leather strap.
The bag added a luxury touch to Swift’s otherwise understated outfit. A bright pop of color came from her shoes, giving the muted green-and-brown palette a more playful finish.
Swift wore her hair in a shoulder-length bob with bangs framing her face. The retro-leaning hairstyle complemented the relaxed look as she and Kelce walked hand in hand through New York City.
