The 2026 Emmy Awards returned Sunday evening at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles for the second of three nights of ceremonies. The drama guest acting categories were among the first to be awarded during the evening. Shailene Woodley took home the award for best drama guest actress from the series Paradise. Ernest Harden Jr. was named a winner for best drama guest actor in The Pitt.

Among the categories were the four guest acting races and recognition for animation, casting, costumes, editing, sound, stunts, and visual effects. These were among the five races moved by the TV Academy off the September 14 NBC telecast.
The ceremony was not broadcast live. The first and second nights of the awards will be edited into a single broadcast for the 78th Emmy Awards (Creative Arts), airing Sept. 12 on FXX at 8 p.m. ET/PT and streaming on Hulu the next day. That combined show is scheduled to air on Sept. 12.
