Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have announced the arrival of their second child, a baby boy. The actress shared a photo on Instagram showing the couple with their daughter and new baby. Brown posted the image on September 17, displaying her short red nail polish and a golden ring. The ring spelled out the word “Mom” in jewels.
She placed her hand over Bongiovi’s palm as their two kids clutched his fingers in a touching gesture, according to E! News. The couple married in 2024 and had previously announced they were adopting their first child together. They shared the news in August 2025 through an Instagram post. The couple said at the time that they had welcomed a baby girl through adoption and wanted to begin parenthood with peace and privacy.
People reported that the couple’s second child was also welcomed through adoption. Brown had hinted earlier in September that their family had grown when she posted a video showing Bongiovi carrying a baby while the family walked in the Dolomites in Italy.
Brown spoke about protecting her daughter’s privacy and keeping her story safe until she is old enough to share it herself. She added that if her daughter chooses to tell her own story one day, they would support that choice. Brown said adoption was always part of her plans. She previously told British Vogue that she did not believe it was her place to put her young daughter in the spotlight without her consent.
She described adoption as an act of love and emphasized its importance in her social work studies. She also mentioned learning about the experience of birth mothers through conversations and reading. Brown said on the Not Gonna Lie podcast in June that adoption had been a childhood dream and that she and Bongiovi spent considerable time learning about the process before becoming parents.
Bongiovi had previously celebrated Brown’s birthdays on social media, including her 19th and 20th. He marked her 19th birthday in 2023 with a post calling her the girl of his dreams.
He wrote a message for her 20th birthday, calling her his beautiful fiancé and expressing love. The post also referred to a “big year ahead.” The couple married later in 2024.
