Singer Ciara has announced that she is expecting her fifth child overall, her fourth with husband Russell Wilson. The couple shared the news in a joint social media post on Sunday, showing photos and video of Ciara’s growing baby bump. The couple captioned the post, “One more person to Love,” according to ABC News. In the announcement, Ciara posed for the camera in her backyard wearing a white tank top and blue jeans. She smiled and laughed as she stood beside a clothesline with shirts bearing the names of her children. The shirts displayed the names Future, Sienna, Win, and Amora, along with a blank baby onesie for the newest arrival. Ciara also shared a video of herself hanging a tiny white outfit on the line while wearing hair curlers and a big smile. Russell Wilson commented under the post, showing his excitement about the upcoming arrival. No due date or sex for the baby has been announced.
The couple’s announcement comes as both Ciara and Wilson navigate changes in their professional lives. Ciara released her latest EP titled YES PACK on August 25. Russell Wilson ended his NFL career by announcing his retirement on June 3 after a 14-season run with multiple teams including the Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants, according to a report from Sportskeeda. He has since transitioned into a media role, joining CBS Sports as an NFL analyst.
Ciara and Wilson are already parents to three children together: daughters Sienna and Amora, and son Win. The singer also has an older son, Future Zahir, from a previous relationship with rapper Future. This pregnancy will make Ciara a mother of five and will be her fourth child with Russell Wilson.
The couple has been hinting at their desire to have more children in recent months. Russell first mentioned the nickname “Cinco” in October 2024 when he commented on a photo of Ciara wearing a leather dress. He continued his campaign in May 2025 with a Mother’s Day message to Ciara, saying, “You are so good at this Mom thing, let’s have another.” In July 2026, Wilson told E! News that he was trying to convince Ciara to have a fifth child, saying, “Cinco, you got to be on the way soon.”
Ciara has spoken publicly about balancing her music career with motherhood, The Times of India reported. In September 2024, she told PEOPLE that she took her entire family on tour while she was performing. She described how much her children enjoyed spending time with artists like Missy Elliott and Busta Rhymes. Ciara said it was “the most amazing time” with her children but also noted that she looked forward to returning to school routines after the tour ended.
The couple’s latest pregnancy announcement sparked over 21,000 likes on Instagram within hours of posting. Ciara and Russell Wilson have been married since 2016 and have built a family life that includes both music and motherhood. The couple’s journey as parents continues to evolve with each new chapter in their lives.
