In today’s financial markets, a downturn was noticeable across major global indices. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 411.32 points, a decline of 1.06%, closing at 38,441.54. Similarly, the NASDAQ Composite dropped by 99.30 points, ending the day at 16,920.58, a decrease of 0.58%. The S&P 500 wasn’t spared either, decreasing by 39.09 points to settle at 5,266.95, reflecting a 0.74% decline.
European markets also faced a tough trading session. The FTSE 100 index declined by 71.11 points or 0.86%, closing at 8,183.07.
