Digital News Report – State Senator Mark Wyland knows that California needs to regulations but isn’t sure which ones to cut.

His office told Digital News Report that he is calling on businesses to tell him which regulations are impeding their business. “Anything” is on the table, according to his staffer.

“Last week I delivered a letter telling lawmakers to stop all unnecessary legislation and focus on job creation,” Wyland said in a statement. “I am bringing attention to what should be the Legislature’s top priority- creating jobs and growing the economy.”

His office did not have any suggestions on which regulations need to be scrapped. The goal is to have businesses report to the senator. “People are counting on lawmakers to act with urgency and determine why California’s unemployment rate remains the second-highest in the country and jobs continue to leave the “golden” state”.

If you are a business and have any ideas, contact the Senator at: (760) 931-2455.
