Digital News Report – More embassies in Yemen have closed as Yemeni government forces kill two suspected Al Qaeda militants. Besides U.S. and British embassies which closed yesterday, French, German and Japanese embassies also closed Monday.

Yemeni forces are looking for Nazih al-Hanq, who escaped after the government killed two of his bodyguards. After a gun battle in the city of Arhab, it is believed that Mr. Hang fled to an area between the villages of Hanq and Beit Boussan.

In the Yemeni capital of Sana security has been tightened. Yemen is fast becoming the new front in the war on terror after a suspected terrorist tried to blow up an airliner as it landed in Detroit Michigan.
