Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney claimed victory in stage 7 of the Tour de France Femmes 2026, taking the yellow jersey after a strong performance on Mont Ventoux. The race began with a challenging route that included steep climbs and exposed sections, setting the stage for a dramatic finish. Niewiadoma-Phinney moved into the lead after making a decisive push in the final kilometers of the stage. Dominika Włodarczyk dropped down to eighth place after being separated early in the race. She now sits 5 minutes and 13 seconds behind the race leader.
Isabella Holmgren also had a difficult day, losing two spots in the general classification. She is now 6 minutes and 9 seconds behind the yellow jersey holder.
The race continues with a final stage in Nice on Sunday, where a tight battle for the overall title is expected, according to a report from Yahoo Sports. Mavi Garcia of UAE Team ADQ was also mentioned as one of the riders involved in the stage, Yahoo Sports reported.
