Cristiano Ronaldo’s love life has often drawn attention from the media and fans alike. The Portuguese football star has long been a figure of global fame, and his personal relationships have also made headlines. After years of being in the spotlight, Ronaldo has now officially become a husband.
His partner in life is Georgina Rodríguez, an Argentine-Spanish model and influencer who met him in 2017, according to The Sporting News. The couple’s relationship began to grow serious after their first meeting at a Gucci store. Rodríguez described her initial impression of Ronaldo as finding him very handsome and tall. She shared that their first hand-holding moment brought a feeling of peace and energy she had never experienced before. According to her, the connection between them was strong from the beginning.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez began dating shortly after meeting and stayed together for eight years before he proposed in August 2025. They officially tied the knot in August 2026. Ronaldo told Piers Morgan that he asked Rodríguez if she was honest and responded by saying he wanted her and wanted to marry her.
Rodríguez is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, but has spent much of her life in Spain. She has worked with many top fashion brands including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Guess, Gucci, Prada and Chanel.
The couple has five children together. Their children include daughter Eva Maria, born in June 2017, son Mateo, also born in June 2017, daughter Alana, born in November 2017, and daughter Bella, born in April 2022. Two of their children, Alana and Bella, were born to Rodríguez. Another child, Cristiano Jr., was born to a woman whose identity Ronaldo has not revealed publicly. Twins Eva and Mateo were born through surrogacy.
The couple shared a tragic moment in their lives when they announced the passing of their stillborn baby boy Angel. They wrote on Instagram that it was the greatest pain any parents could feel.
