Digital News Report – Toys R Us stores will be keeping their doors open 24 hours for the next few days until Christmas Day. There is also a 2-Day sale going on December 20 and 21.
The 24-hour holiday store hours start at 6 am on Tuesday, December 20 and will go through 10 pm on Christmas Eve. Altogether, the Toys R Us stores will be open non-stop for 112 hours. This is the second time that the company has remained open non-stop before Christmas.
Toys R Us 2-Day 50% Off Sale
Like many retailers, they are offering a mid-week sale on Tuesday December 20 and Wednesday December 21 at their stores. Some of the promotions include a free $35 Toys R Us Gift card with a purchase of a Nintendo 3DS handheld game system. There is also a free Nintendo 3DS Game (up to $39.99 on select games) with a purchase of Nintendo 3DS Sylanders Spyro’s Adventure Starter Pack. Toys R Us is also discounting Nintendo DS Starter Kits 50 percent off, with sale prices ranging between $2,49 – $19.99 each.
Other deals include 60 percent discount on Leapfrog Fix and Learn Speedy, which is only $9.99 (reg. $24.99). A great stocking stuffer, the Barbie Beach Dolls are on sale for $3.49 (reg. $6.99). All Imaginarium wooden toys are 40 percent off. The AVIGO Mini Cooper ride-on toy is on sale for $239.99 (save $60). All Moxie Girlz Magic Hair, Sisterz, and Dazzle Dance dolls are buy one get one 50 percent off. The Nikon CoolPix 14 megapixel digital camera is on sale for $89.99 (save $30).
Other electronic deals to be on the lookout for with this sale include a Riptunes 2GB MP3 player that is on sale for $9.99. There is also a Riptunes 4GB MP3 Player with video playback on sale for only $19.79. There are also video game controllers on sale for $19.99 each, which are 50 percent off regular price.
Ordering online might make the package arrive late for Christmas. However, they have free shipping if you order $75 or more. You may have to upgrade shipping in order to get the item to arrive in time, which is not free. If you don’t want to take chances, it is better to get to the store and go shopping.
Toys R Us has a rewards membership that will earn 10 percent back through Christmas Eve. Check your local store hours, because a few stores have different hours of operation.
