Delta Airfare Sale for New York LaGuardia Flights as low as $49 One Way

Digital News Report – Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) announced a New York – LaGuardia airfare sale going on now until January 5, 2012. The airfare sale is to celebrate New York LaGuardia Airport expansion that is planned for this upcoming spring and summer. The tickets are priced as low as $49 one-way, but a round trip is required. The discounted flights are for flights traveling from the LaGuardia Airport.

The travel dates for this airfare sale is between March 25, 2012 and September 30, 2012 for most destinations. Travel to/from Charlotte, NC, Charlottesville, VA, Cleveland, OH, Denver, CO, Houston, TX, Milwaukee, WI, Myrtle Beach, SC, Philadelphia, PA, Pittsburgh, PA, Roanoke, VA, Washington, DC, Wilmington, NC, Montreal, QC, Canada, and Ottawa, ON, Canada, discounted flights begin on or after July 11, 2012 and end on September 30, 2012.

Seating is limited and there are blackout dates. Travel to or from Florida between March 25, 30-31, and April 1, 6-8, 13-15, 2012 are blacked out from the sale pricing. The airfare sale prices are only available for Economy (Coach) cabin on nonstop Delta/Delta Connection carrier flights. The advertised prices are one-way and additional taxes and fees are extra so make sure to consider this when making the flight reservation. Sample airfare prices are listed below.

Another hidden fee is with the luggage fees. The first bag checked fee is $25 USD/CAD, the second checked bag fee is $35 USD/CAD, and the third bag checked fee is $125 USD/CAD. This checked luggage fees apply to flights within the US or Canada.
