Digital News Report – Sam’s Club stores with either a pharmacy or an optical center will be offering free vision screenings on August 13, 2011 between 11 am to 3 pm. They will offer free preventative eye exams for both children and adults. They will test for vision acuity screening and will give a take home test called an Amsler Grid test to determine if there are missing or blurred areas of eyesight.
This is a great way to get the kids checked before school starts. Bad eyesight can cause learning problems in children.
Adults often do not get their eyes checked often enough. After the age of 40, they should consider getting a yearly screening.
