no smoking sign - DNR
Digital News Report – Princess Cruises announced a new smoking policy, which will prohibit travelers from smoking in their ships’ stateroom cabins and on the balconies. This smoking ban will go into effect on January 15, 2012.

This new smoking restriction expands to more areas than previously enforced on their cruise ships. Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises executive vice president said in a statement, that they have very few passengers that smoke and they want to have most of the ships’ areas to be smoke free.

The ships will have special locations designated for smoking. These areas are in the Churchill’s Cigar Lounge, and parts of the open decks.
