Digital News Report– NASA will be randomly selecting 100 Twitter followers a chance to go to the Ames Research Center on February 11th in Moffett Field, California to get an insider look at the Kepler spacecraft. The Ames Research Center is located in Silicon Valley and the tour will include discussions with NASA officials, managers, and scientists.
There will also be a Tweetup which will include a “meet and greet” with those NASA staff working @NASA and @NASA_Ames and time to get to know other Tweeps attending the event.
The Tweetup registration will be open at 1 pm EST on January 5, 2011 and will be closed for sign-up on January 10, 2010 at 1 pm. NASA will select 100 Tweeps from the sign up online to be invited to the facility. There will be a waiting list, if cancellations occur. You can sign up for the Tweetup at http://www.nasa.gov/tweetup.
