Digital News Report – Clearwire announced that they now have the CLEAR 4G network available in the San Francisco Bay area. Clearwire was the first to provide 4G in the United States and the new technology provides internet speeds up to four times faster than 3G.
CLEAR 4G will cover the areas over 4 million people. The area coverage includes the Bay of San Francisco, Oakland, South Bay, San Jose and the 680 corridor including Concord and Pleasanton. To see the complete coverage map you can visit www.clear.com/coverage.

4G mobile plans start at $35 per month and goes up to $80 per month.
