Digital News Report – There is a recall of Bumblebee Tuna. After customers found hard plastic in the Bumblebee Chicken salad, the company began a nationwide recall.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has issued a change in their original warnings. The company has updated their “Best-by” date.
There are two products on the list.
1) The first recalled product is the 8.2-ounce packages of “BUMBLE BEE LUNCH ON THE RUN CHICKEN SALAD COMPLETE LUNCH KIT.” The packages contains a 2.9-ounce can of Bumble Bee Chicken Salad along with crackers, mixed fruit, a cookie and a spoon. The package label indicates the product is “Mixed and Ready to Eat.” The best-by date is 07/11
2) The second product is the 3.5-ounce packages of “BUMBLE BEE CHICKEN SALAD WITH CRACKERS.” This product contains a 2.9-can of Bumble Bee Chicken Salad and crackers. The package label indicates the product is “Ready to Eat.” The best-by date is 02/12.
The cans of chicken include bear the establishment number “P-169” inside the USDA mark of inspection and the lot code “0225XXQBC” printed on the package.
There have been no injuries reported, but government officials are calling this a “class II” hazard. This is a health hazard situation where there is a remote probability of adverse health consequences from the use of the product.

If I have this product what do I do with it?? I know I have some in may cabinet will have to go through it.
