Digital News Report – Refinance rates were higher Monday. Chase bank, Citi Financial, and PNC lowered their rates while Bank of America raised their refinance rates.
These are refinancing loan rates, not new-purchase interest rates.
The average 30-year refinance rate increased three basis points to 4.4822%. Citi lowered their rate seven points to 4.74% Monday. PNC lowered their rate 3 points to 3.93%.
Chase lowered their refinance rates two-points to 4.45% and Bank of America raised their 13 basis points to 4.413%.
The average 15-year refinance rate jumped up three points to 3.9826%. Bank of Citi Financial lowered their 15-year loans eight points to 4.33%.
PNC and Chase bank also lowered their loan refinancing rates.
