Inergy Bounces Back and The Men’s Wearhouse Jumps Over Two Percent

Digital News Report – Inergy, L.P. (NYSE:NRGY) has rebounded in after-hours trading subsequent to dropping $0.76 (-2.06%) to $36.14 on Wednesday. The stock is back up $.095 (2.63%) to $37.09. Some market-watchers had expected a rebound after the sell-off.

On Tuesday the company priced 10,250,000 common units in an underwritten public offering. In a statement Inergy said they were going to use the proceeds to pay-down outstanding indebtedness and help in the purchase of Seneca Lake and Tres Palacios.

The Men’s Wearhouse, Inc. (Public, NYSE:MW) share price jumped $0.48 (+2.29) to $21.48 after a Q2 2010 Earnings Release. On Wednesday the price closed at $21.00, up $0.11 (+0.53%).

The suit and specialty clothing retailer reported profits of $42.5 million. That works out to 80 cents a share. Compare that to the previous year when the company profits were $39.5 million, or 75 cents per share. That is a 7.59 percent increase.
