Term Life Insurance Plans Compared

By Tina Brown on May 16, 2010

Digital News Report – Life insurance is something many people need but rarely talk about. Wells Fargo offers two basic plans: The Simplified Term Life Plan and the Term Life Plan.

With the simplified plan customers can get immediate approval for coverage amounts between $25,000 and $150,000. Their regular term life plan offers greater coverage but takes between 6 to 8 weeks to have it underwritten. Customers can sign-up for both plans online.

Their term life plan can cover families for between $100,000 and $5 million. Unlike their simplified plan a medical exam is required. The term plan has a term of 10 to 30 years and the simplified plan will last for only 10 to 20 years.

You can’t have any health problems to qualify for their simplified plan but if you have “some” pre-existing conditions you may still be able to qualify for their regular term plan.

Most people don’t think of a bank when they look for term life insurance. Besides life insurance they also offer health insurance and long-term care insurance at affordable rates.
