Digital News Report – Well’s Fargo does not change their mortgage rates very often and the bank is advertising a rate of 4.875 percent right now (5.065% APR) for their 30-year fixed rate loans.
They also have a 30-year fixed rate FHA mortgage for 5.630% APR. Bank of America had a rate of 4.98 percent APR for the same loan amount. Chase had a rate of 5.04 percent.
Each lending institution also offers 5-year adjustable rate mortgages. BofA had a rate of 3.51 percent and Chase had a rate of 3.555 percent. Compare that to Wells Fargo which had a rate of 3.549 percent.
Wells Fargo and Chase had published rates for their 15-year fixed rate mortgages. Wells Fargo had a rate of 4.573% and Chase was 4.414%.
