Digital News Report – Remember the film “Field of Dreams” where Kevin Costner said if he would build it they will come. This baseball film was a big hit in 1989 and was filmed in Iowa. They owners of that corn field and home, which was in the film, is up for sale according to a report in the Des Moines Register.
The owners, Don and Becky Lansing, are asking $5.4 million for 193 acres of Iowa property. The real estate includes the house and field that was in the film along with two souvenir stands. There are also six more farm buildings on the farmland.
The couple live nearby and are currently renting out the home. They are looking to sell because they are getting older and are thinking about retiring they told the local newspaper.
