Target to sell Amazon Kindle eBook Reader

Digital News Report – This Sunday, at select Target stores, you can buy an Amazon Kindle eBook reader. The first stores to see the April 25th roll-out of the Amazon Kindle will be at Target’s downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota store, and at 102 Target stores located in south Florida.

The Amazon Kindle allows user to purchase books, magazine, and newspapers all wirelessly. The Kindle retails for $259. Previously the Amazon Kindle was only available to purchase only at Amazon.com. Now, people will be able to see a demo unit at Target before purchasing the eBook reader.

Best Buy recently announced a partnership with Barnes & Noble Nook eBook reader to sell a competing product to the Amazon Kindle.
