GM Brake Problem being investigated by NHTSA after receiving 110 Consumer Complaints

Digital News Report – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has began an initial investigation starting on March 30th of GM vehicles which 110 consumers complained of corroded brake lines in Chevrolet and GMC pickup trucks and some SUV models. The brake corrosion made the automobiles difficult to stop.

There has been no reports of injuries said the NHTSA. GM is working with the NHTSA to determine the cause and problems caused by this potential defect.

Currently there is not a brake recall for the GM trucks and SUV’s. If there is a GM brake recall there would by approximately 6 million vehicles that could be affected by the possible problem.
