Digital News Report – Fox News announced that Sarah Palin will be joining the lineup as a contributor beginning tomorrow. She will appear on the Bill O’Reilly show, “The O’Reilly Factor”, Tuesday January 12th. She will also contribute to other shows.
Fox News says she has a new gig. Palin has signed a “multi-year deal to offer her political commentary and analysis across all Fox News platforms, including Fox Business Channel, FoxNews.com and Fox News Radio”, according to their report. She will also participate in their special event political programming.
Palin became the voice of the social conservatives when she ran for Vice President in 2008. She was the 11th Governor of Alaska from 2006 until her abrupt resignation in 2009. Some speculated that she resigned so she could cash in on her newfound celebrity.
She has been controversial. The governor supported windfall profit taxes against the oil industry, which outraged fiscal conservatives. Author of the best selling book, “Going Rogue: An American Life”, Palin will be the keynote speaker at the Tea party Convention next month in Nashville.
“I am thrilled to be joining the great talent and management team at Fox News. It’s wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balanced news,” Palin said in a written press release.

I think this will really boost Fox news, she is loved by most conservatives however is hated by liberals and those who want
a free lunch,dinner and home.
