Digital News Report – The Netflix company has made a disc available that will allow subscribers of their service to watch their streaming online videos using the Nintendo Wii game console. Currently, Netflix has over 17,000 streaming choices to watch on demand through the internet. You also get to have DVD movies sent to you through your mail service.
This was being tested out since January, and not it has been made available to all Netflix customers that subscribe to the $8.99 subscription plan or better. You have to have a Nintendo Wii game console that is able to connect to broadband Internet service. You can connect to your Internet via a wireless connection.
You also have to request the compact disc to have the service work on the Nintendo Wii. You can do this be logging onto the Netflix.com website.
