Digital News Report – Adobe Systems Incorporated announced that the now have the Adobe Creative Suite 5 which will be scheduled to ship within the next 30 days starting at $1299 and going up to $2599 depending on the package you purchase.
Some of the new features are web related. The software will get access to the Omniture technologies that help to capture, store and analyze information from websites and other sources. The Adobe Flash Catalyzt is new to the Creative Suite package and makes it easier to create interactive content without having to know how to write code. The new version 5 will also have the ability to develop content for the Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and Adobe AIR® 2 which are designed to play high quality video on mobile devices.
There are 250 new features which have been included in the Adobe Creative Suite 5 Master Collection. There is a new Refine Edge feature in Photoshop that will make it easier to detect edges for masking. Adobe Illustrator has new stroke options that allow the adjustment of the width of stroke and to have variable widths that the artists determine. In Dreamweaver CS5 they have added support for Drupal, Joomla! and WordPress to help with interactive web development on these content management systems.
