Disney Cruise Line is bringing a ship back to New York City in 2027 for the first time since 2023. The Disney Wish will arrive in late September of that year to begin a series of seven sailings. Five of these trips will include a stop in Bermuda, and three of those will add an extra day at the island. This return to New York also marks Disney’s first visit to New England and Atlantic Canada in nearly four years. The cruise line will call at Boston, Saint John in New Brunswick, and Halifax in Nova Scotia.
After the New York season, the Disney Wish will sail a five-night route to San Juan, Puerto Rico with a stop in Bermuda, according to travelagentcentral.com. From San Juan, the ship will continue with a seven-night sailing through the Southern Caribbean visiting Aruba, St. Maarten, Bonaire, and Dominica, according to a report from recommend.com. The Disney Wish will then make a four-night repositioning cruise to Port Canaveral with stops at Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay.
The Disney Fantasy will also increase its sailings from San Juan in fall 2027 and spring 2028. In December 2027, the ship will sail a seven-night Southern Caribbean itinerary from San Juan. It will also offer a five-night Eastern Caribbean cruise ending in Fort Lauderdale. The Disney Fantasy will return to San Juan in late April and May 2028 for two more seven-night Southern Caribbean sailings. These trips will include ports like Curaçao, Bonaire, Barbados, and Antigua.
Disney Magic will sail two 14-night Panama Canal repositioning cruises in fall 2027 and spring 2028, travelweekly.co.uk reported. In November 2027, the ship will sail from San Diego to Galveston, with a maiden call at Fuerte Amador in Panama City. In March 2028, the ship will return from Galveston to San Diego with a maiden stop at Colon, Panama.
Starting in November 2027, three Wish Class ships will homeport from Port Canaveral. Disney Destiny will be the first of these ships to call Port Canaveral home. It will offer three- to seven-night sailings to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean after beginning the fall season in Fort Lauderdale. After its New York City and San Juan trips, Disney Wish will settle into Port Canaveral for three- and four-night Bahamian cruises. Disney Treasure will continue with seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries. It will also sail an eight-night Eastern Caribbean sailing and a six-night Bahamian cruise with two stops at Disney Castaway Cay.
Disney Dream will also sail three- and four-night Bahamas cruises from Port Canaveral before shifting to Fort Lauderdale in November 2027. From Fort Lauderdale, the ship will offer four- to seven-night sailings and one eight-night itinerary with two stops at Disney Castaway Cay. Disney Fantasy will sail from Port Canaveral from September through November 2027 on four- and five-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean itineraries. It will later reposition to San Juan and then Fort Lauderdale for longer sailings to the Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean.
From Fort Lauderdale, Disney Fantasy will make its first Bermuda sailing on an eight-night cruise that includes both Disney island destinations in The Bahamas. On the West Coast, Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will sail from San Diego through to early November 2027. They will offer three- to seven-night Baja and Mexican Riviera itineraries through early November. Disney Wonder will continue sailing from San Diego through fall 2027 and spring 2028. It will visit ports including Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, and Catalina Island.
After completing its Panama Canal crossing, Disney Magic will return to Galveston for four- to seven-night cruises. Some trips will include calls at both Disney Lookout Cay and Disney Castaway Cay.
In Southeast Asia, the Disney Adventure will continue three- and four-night sailings from Singapore. Starting December 31, 2026, some sailings will add Langkawi, Malaysia, as a new port of call.
Early bookings for Castaway Club members open on August 31, 2026, with general sales beginning on September 8. Tracy Wilson, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line Operations, said the company is proud to be a leader in family cruising. She added that the line helps guests create lasting memories in even more destinations.
