Natalia Bryant made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut Sunday, October 18, joining some of the fashion industry’s most recognizable models at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California. The 23-year-old daughter of the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Bryant walked the runway during an event featuring performances by Megan Thee Stallion, Megan Moroney, Tate McRae and KATSEYE.
The 2026 show marked Victoria’s Secret’s return to the Los Angeles area after staging its previous two runway events in New York City. Organizers brought together established supermodels, newer faces and musical performers for a production streamed internationally on the company’s digital platforms.
Bryant was among the most closely watched newcomers. She had previously worked with Victoria’s Secret’s PINK label but had never participated in the brand’s annual fashion show.
Speaking backstage before the event, Bryant told Page Six Style that she was “seriously so over the moon” about joining a runway she had admired since childhood. She described the opportunity as particularly meaningful because several models she grew up watching were participating.
The appearance represented another step in Bryant’s growing modeling career, which began several years before her first Victoria’s Secret runway appearance.
Natalia Bryant Celebrates a Childhood Dream
Bryant explained that she had watched previous Victoria’s Secret shows repeatedly while preparing for her appearance. Studying the performances helped her understand the atmosphere of an event known for its elaborate costumes, distinctive wings and celebrity entertainment.
She also expressed excitement about being surrounded by models whose careers had inspired her. Among her favorites was Candice Swanepoel, the South African supermodel who became one of the brand’s best-known Angels.
Despite the attention surrounding her debut, Bryant took a relatively relaxed approach to preparing for the runway.
Rather than following an intensive last-minute routine, she focused on yoga, stretching and listening to music. Her playlist included Dua Lipa, Beyoncé and Tate McRae, whose performance was also part of the evening’s entertainment.
Bryant encouraged other newcomers to enjoy the experience and remain comfortable expressing their personalities. She approached the appearance as an opportunity to celebrate rather than an occasion that required perfection.
Before the show, she gave reporters a small preview of her planned outfit, describing it as very pink without revealing its full design.
On the runway, Bryant appeared in a look from Victoria’s Secret PINK featuring a black bra, a bright pink shrug and embellished jeans. She completed the ensemble with silver heels, a sparkling handbag and a bow headband.
The youthful styling reflected PINK’s emphasis on casual fashion and coordinated accessories, providing a contrast with the elaborate lingerie and oversized wings worn elsewhere in the show.
Her mother, Vanessa Bryant, attended the event and watched from the audience. Vanessa has frequently supported Natalia’s modeling appearances as her eldest daughter has developed her own professional career.
Bryant Builds Her Modeling Career
Natalia Bryant entered professional modeling after signing with IMG Models in 2021. At the time, she expressed an interest in fashion that had developed throughout her childhood.
Her runway debut came during Milan Fashion Week in September 2023, when she walked in Versace’s Spring/Summer 2024 presentation.
That appearance placed her alongside established fashion models and introduced her to the demands of major international runway shows.
She subsequently appeared in presentations for other designers and participated in commercial campaigns. Her work has included partnerships with Adidas, David Yurman and Victoria’s Secret PINK.
Bryant previously appeared in a PINK campaign in 2024, making Sunday’s show an extension of an existing relationship with the company.
She also graduated from the University of Southern California, balancing her education with fashion opportunities and public appearances.
Although her family background has attracted significant attention, Bryant has increasingly established her own presence in modeling. Her Victoria’s Secret appearance gave her an opportunity to reach audiences beyond conventional fashion shows and advertising campaigns.
The event also connected her with several generations of models, including some who participated in Victoria’s Secret productions long before Bryant began her career.
Megan Thee Stallion Leads Musical Performances
Music played a central role in the fashion show, with organizers announcing an entirely female lineup of featured performers.
Megan Thee Stallion, the Grammy-winning rapper known for songs including “Savage” and “Body,” was among the event’s biggest musical attractions.
She arrived on the pink carpet wearing a sparkling, fitted gown with a dramatic feathered train. The look combined rhinestone details with bright pink feathers before she changed into a separate outfit for her performance.
On the runway, Megan wore silver wings with a black lingerie-inspired ensemble and sparkling stockings. Her performance closed the evening’s musical program.
The rapper had previously expressed excitement about joining the show, describing the opportunity to receive her own Victoria’s Secret wings as a personal milestone.
Canadian singer Tate McRae also performed, appearing in a coordinated red outfit featuring a corset, matching accessories and heels.
Her performance brought contemporary pop music into the runway production, continuing the brand’s practice of pairing fashion presentations with live entertainment.
KATSEYE, the international girl group formed through the Dream Academy project, participated in the PINK portion of the show. The members performed in coordinated outfits featuring miniskirts and corset-inspired designs.
Together, the performers represented different areas of contemporary popular music, from hip-hop and country to pop and international girl-group entertainment.
Megan Moroney Brings Country Music to the Runway
Country singer Megan Moroney opened the show in a white, glittering corset-inspired outfit with a short skirt and fluffy pink wings.
Moroney performed three songs from her album Cloud 9: “6 Months Later,” “Wish I Didn’t” and “Sorry… I Meant Tonight.”
Her participation brought country music into a production more commonly associated with pop and dance performances.
The singer also attracted attention during a backstage interview with E! News when she recalled an embarrassing experience at a previous Academy of Country Music Awards ceremony.
Moroney explained that adhesive underwear she was wearing beneath her outfit began falling off while she was on the red carpet. Rather than trying to repair the situation in public, she removed the garment and handed it to her publicist.
She recounted the incident with humor, presenting it as an example of handling an unexpected fashion problem without losing confidence.
Moroney also discussed how her style has changed alongside her music career. She described becoming more comfortable with feminine clothing while maintaining the personality that helped establish her popularity.
Her Victoria’s Secret appearance reflected that approach, combining a soft pink presentation with the confidence required to perform before a large runway audience.
Established Supermodels Return to Victoria’s Secret
The 2026 show featured numerous returning models, including Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Candice Swanepoel and Barbara Palvin.
Other participants included Ashley Graham, Anok Yai, Alex Consani, Precious Lee and Joan Smalls.
Their appearances placed Bryant and other newcomers alongside models associated with different periods of Victoria’s Secret history.
The company also brought back its Fantasy Bra, a feature previously associated with some of its most elaborate runway presentations.
For 2026, Victoria’s Secret worked with jewelry company Jacob & Co. on the design, marking the return of the concept after an eight-year absence.
The production was developed under the creative direction of Adam Selman, Victoria’s Secret’s executive vice president and chief creative officer.
Selman described the show’s theme as Fandemonium, emphasizing the relationship between the brand, its models and the audiences who follow the annual event.
The company also introduced a nationwide model search documented through its Angels Among Us series. The competition selected Solange Omon, a 21-year-old model originally from Cameroon, as its newest Angel.
Omon’s selection provided another debut alongside Bryant’s appearance, reflecting the company’s effort to introduce new talent while retaining familiar runway personalities.
Los Angeles Event Reaches a Global Audience
Victoria’s Secret streamed the October 18 show free through YouTube and its social media channels, allowing viewers to watch the runway and musical performances without a television subscription.
The company also arranged live screenings at 10 selected AMC theaters, extending the event beyond its studio audience.
The runway presentation began at 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time following a pink-carpet program featuring arrivals and interviews.
Among the guests were Vanessa Bryant, Nicole Kidman, Dylan Sprouse and Tinashe, adding to the event’s combination of fashion, music and entertainment personalities.
The Los Angeles setting represented another change for a fashion show that has undergone several transformations in recent years.
Victoria’s Secret discontinued its traditional televised runway event after 2018 amid criticism of its narrow presentation of beauty and changing consumer expectations. The company revived the runway format in 2024 with a broader selection of models.
Sunday’s production continued that approach while restoring familiar elements, including oversized wings, elaborate costumes and live musical performances.
For Natalia Bryant, the evening was a first appearance on a runway she had watched for years. For Victoria’s Secret, the show combined recognizable fashion names with newer models and performers as the company continued rebuilding one of its most prominent annual events.
