Digital News Report – Digital News Report – Oprah Winfrey was in India filming for another episode of her OWN channel’s ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter’ TV show, when her bodyguards attacked local media cameramen that were following them, according to local news reports.
The news story was reported first by local news station CNN’s IBN and video footage of the confrontation was shown. The IBN Live report showed video footage of men attacking the camera men and journalists. According to their report, some of the cameras were damaged. The scuffle occurred approximately 90 miles south of Delhi in a suburb.
Oprah Winfrey is reported to be interviewing Deepak Chopra, and has been to Bollywood, India’s film industry hub during this trip to the country. On Thursday, Oprah Winfrey was filming the famous white marble Taj Mahal.
