Digital News Report – There are several things to consider when shopping for a credit card. Many customers do not want to pay an annual fee and they want the lowest interest rate possible if they are going to carry a balance (Compare rates with the chart below). Other customers may be looking for a balance transfer or a method of paying off a debt with zero or low interest.

We have searched for the lowest rates and found several major credit cards with relatively low interest rates and no annual fees.

Citi Credit Cards

The Citi® Diamond Preferred® Card had a variable rate of between 9.99%-19.99% with no annual fee. Customers will need excellent credit to apply for the card.

Citi also has other cards including Citi® Platinum Select® MasterCard® and Citi® Dividend Platinum Select® MasterCard. Rates vary from 11.99 percent to 20.99 percent.

Capital One Cards

Capital One offers the Capital One® Platinum Prestige Credit Card with a rate of 11.9 percent. You will need excellent credit to get the card. The company also offers the Capital One® Platinum Credit Card. With this card you only need “good” credit.

BankAmericard

Bank of America offers several cards including the BankAmericard Cash RewardsTM Visa Signature® Card and the BankAmericard® Power Rewards® Visa Signature® Card. These cards vary from 12.99 percent to 20.99 percent.

Discover Credit Cards

Discover offers several cards with low interest rates. They have the Discover® More® Card and the Discover® Open Road Card with rates from 11.99 percent to 20.99 percent.
