Lawmakers seek National Guard to help with Chicago Violence

April 26th, 2010

Digital News Report – Illinois State Representatives, John Fritchy (D-Chicago) and LaShawn Ford (D-Chicago) are asking Governor Pat Quinn to implement with Chicago Mayor Richard Daley and the Chicago Police, the Illinois National Guard troops to patrol the streets of Chicago.

They are asking that the National Guard be sent is ASAP to get guns and criminals off of the streets. The National Guard troops haven’t been used, to their knowledge, for general times of violence. Previously, other states have used the National Guard during riots or specific protests or events.

Fritchey explained in a press release, that 113 people have been killed in Chicago so far this year. This is the same number of US troops killed in Iraq and Afganistan wars combined, over the same time period.

They point to the problem related to gang activity and that 80 percent of the homicide victims are black.

The deployment of the National Guards to Chicago will only delay the medication destined for a very severe womb infection. Until these lawmakers are exclusively held accountable for this infection, they will continue to grandstand and receive praise despite their inability to provide the people with an appropriate medication to combat this severe infection.

People usually respond to drastic actions with drastic and irresponsible solutions. The presence of many soldiers saturating a certain area will project an illusion of diminishing infection, but in actuality, during their deployment, the infection is spreading.

What are we to do when that medication is exhausted and the womb is even more infected?

Posse Comitatus Act. Simple really- National Guard Forces CANNOT be used in a Law Enforcement capacity, unless in time of emergency. That means Disasters, Acts of Terrorism, or Widespread Civil Unrest. It does not allow the National Guard to be used as local police, in a law enforcement capacity. Too many armed gangs ? Hire more cops, and outfit them with Kit appropriate to take on the gangs- not bring in the Army.

Everyone please wake up!!! Blacks around the world are unable to form peaceful society’s. They are always plaqued by murder and violence. How many years of affirmative action are we going to provide before we realize it is not white oppression it is excessive amounts of testosterone that is the issue. Blacks have 15-20% more testosterone flowing in their blood. Lets address these testosterone levels and you will see the impulsivity, and violence sharply decilne. Stop wasting tax payer money on such a lost cause.
