Digital News Report – Despite the low volume stock prices continued to move up Thursday. The Dow was up another 21 points on top of the 103 points on Wednesday.
It appears that a few investors may be driving up the price, according to David Weidner at Dow Jones. But Weidner says that the gains have little support from “traditional long investors”.
Since January investors have poured $1.8 billion into equity and only $396 million into domestic stock funds in March, according to information provided by the Investment Company Institute.
