Digital News Report – Bret Michaels, 47, who is currently on ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ TV Reality show, has underwent an emergency Appendectomy this past Monday, according to a report in USA Today.
The reason for an appendectomy is usually caused by an acute case of appendicitis. Michaels has Type 1 Diabetes which he was diagnosed at the age of six.
Michaels is reported to be doing well and is in the process of recovering according to his rep.
Unfortunately the former Poison rock band member will be rescheduling some of his April tour dates.
