Top Cancer Fighting Foods on Doctor Oz TV show

Digital News Report – On the Doctor Oz television show today was about how you can prevent cancer through diet. Doctor Oz revealed a list of foods that could help to prevent cancer. Around one-third of the cancers could be prevented just by eating the right diet, exercising regularly, and maintaining a healthy weight.

Research has shown that diets full of vegetables grew tumors slower in lab animals than those that weren’t fed these vegetables.

Here is the Super Anti-Cancer Foods List:

1.The fighting five is eating at least five servings of vegetables and fruits everyday. Vegetables and fruits are both important. He showed carrots, tomatoes, onions, oranges and strawberries in this segment.

2.Tumor Torpedoes is what this food group is called. Eat 3 servings of whole grains of day. They are loaded full of fiber which can remove cancer causing carcinogens out of the body better.

3.Protein servings like fish, salmon, soy, and vegetable proteins. They are called cell commando foods. These are proteins that have little to none of saturated fats.

4.The last group of super foods is herbs and spices. Garlic, tumeric, ginger, curry, cinnamon were mentioned in this segment of foods. They have natural anti-inflammatory properties.

    I cannot find the recipes from todays show March 9th in Jacksonville Florida …..It was for a diet brownie consisting of Oatmeal, yogurt etc

    I too would like that recipe and the value of Vit D. There was another recipe on that same show but I can’t recall what. i would like that also
