Digital News Report – On Thursday the Toyota Motor Corp announced they have figured out what is causing their cars to accelerate dangerously. The pedal assembly gets worn and sticks in the full throttle position.
The company says the problem is rare. They are working quickly to take care of their existing customers first. “We’ve identified the cause of the problem and are focusing all of our energy and resources on developing and thoroughly testing remedies,” the company said in a statement.
They have stopped sales and production of those vehicles affected.
