Digital News Report – Morris Publishing Group, publisher of 13 daily newspapers mostly in the Eastern United States, will seek a judges help in a prepackaged plan of reorganization it will file on Tuesday January 19th.

The company is looking to exchange $100 million in new debt for $278.5 million in existing debt. They don’t expect this to affect their publishing operations.
