Digital News Report- Anonymous has made an official declaration of war against Stephen Colbert over the naming rights of Node 3 on the International Space Station. In less than 24 hours, the Colbert Nation managed to bump “Xenu” out of the top spot in NASA’s online poll over the naming rights.
In retaliation, Anonymous created a video declaration and invaded the Colbert Nation’s main forum board. On Wednesday night’s show, Colbert took his victory and declared himself Scientology’s new galactic overlord.
Meanwhile, NASA’s website has been experiencing technical difficulties on and off since Colbert mentioned the poll on his show. Yes, the most technologically confused group in this battle is NASA.
